E-Book Reader

I had bought an e book reader a while ago for a good friend of mine. it was an amazon kindle. the only competitor was sony digital book read so it was priced around $359 at that time. Today after Barnes & Nobles has thier own e book reader named "nook" and Borders started selling its own "kobo" we have pretty much of a e book reader war going on. kobo wifi only is around $149 and nook was priced slashed to $199 for a 3g version so did amazon slashed its price to $189 from $259 definately a huge price cut but if you plan to buy an e book reader and if you consider kindle then dont buy any of them now. amazon is set to show off a new kindle by august 2010.
